Deal Secures First Affordable Homes at Oak Hill Rise
A significant agreement has been reached to provide the first affordable homes at Oak Hill Rise in Chippenham. Persimmon Homes Wessex and Selwood Housing have exchanged contracts for six properties within the 95-home development currently under construction. Ultimately, Selwood will have 26 affordable homes in this scheme. Specifically, of the initial six properties, four will be available for affordable rent and two will offer shared ownership.
Sustainable Features for New Homes
All homes located at this brownfield site off Malmesbury Road will include environmentally friendly features. These homes will be equipped with air source heat pumps, solar panels, and electric vehicle (EV) charging points. The open market homes will consist of two and three-bedroom properties, priced from £284,500.
