The race for new ideas, solutions and methods to house London’s middle income earners, the CityMakers.

Thursday, 4th February 2016.

* Half Day morning Conference with good food, quality debate, showcase and tour*

The Roundabout Room, M by Montcalm Shoreditch, London

As we enter the election year for a new London Mayor, housing and the provision of new homes is top of the list of ‘thing’s to do’. Mission critical in this debate is the housing of middle income earners, The City Makers, and it is this sector which we will explore at the next London Property Forum event in February.

Key themes of this forward looking and exciting event:

  • What do the City Makers and Generation Rent want from developers and the property sector?
  • Who are the new developers entering the market and what do their products look like?
  • What role for ‘big business’ in the provision of new finances to get employees onto the housing ladder?
  • How are key institutions like the CBI and BPF providing advice and engaging with the market?
  • Custom build, starter homes and self assembly: who is leading this in London?
  • De-centralisation, density levels and the promotion of transport hubs: planning changes?
  • Finally, what are the view from the potential future Mayor of London? *Invited

Investors, developers, buyers and tenants are increasingly working together to create new housing models which will provide solutions for London’s middle income earners to live work and play. Join us in the iconic building at M for Montcalm in the heart of London’s trendy Shoreditch just north of Old Street Tube.
