Royal Berkshire Property Awards 2023

The Prop Royals are back!

Wednesday, 18th October

First held in 2019, the awards programme celebrates the property market in the Royal County of Berkshire. Building upon the successful formulae used at OxPropFest and CamPropFest Awards, also created by UKPF, the ‘PropRoyals’ will recognise the work completed in the region and be judged by a panel of experts.

The awards will also encourage the sustainability agenda and engage with key stakeholders such as the Henley Business School, University of Reading. Located in the historic Reading Town Hall, the event has been chosen with proximity to transport links and the Elizabeth Line in mind and with one simple aim – to give delegates a winning mix of celebration, networking and quality dining.

WHY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER THAMES VALLEY AWARDS?

– Strong connection with the Berkshire planning area
– Located next to a railway station in Reading and London, via the Elizabeth Line
– Draws upon key stakeholders and land owners in Berkshire
– Independent judging panel and refreshed awards decision process
– Limited number of awards allowing time for networking
– Aim to finish the formal proceedings by 10.30pm
– Excellent venue, dining facilities suggestions and value
– Confirmed attendance from the major Berkshire stakeholders
– Post event plans include drinks on site and the Purple Turtle in Reading!

CARBON FOOTPRINT

In the design and implementation of the awards, we will strive to reduce the carbon footprint of this event. For example, the decision on the location of the venue is in close proximity to public transport stations, the use of digital ticketing in all aspects of event management, the limited use of paper where possible, the provenance of the food served to Berkshire and the design of the awards, which will be made of recycled or sustainable materials. I am sure there will be more that we can incorporate into the event and will do as we get closer to October.
