A speculative industrial scheme of 10,824 sq m has been submitted for a vacant site in Stevenage.

Developer Wrenbridge, backed by Fiera Real Estate, has applied to Stevenage Borough Council to demolish existing buildings and redevelop the site formerly used by Bond International in Wedgewood Way at the Pin Green employment area.

The proposal, which includes parking for 108 cars, 18 HGVs, eight motorbikes and 26 bikes, seeks Use Classes E(g)(iii), B2 and B8.

A planning application for a Morrisons supermarket on the site was approved in May 2023 but withdrawn a year later.

The team on the project includes Stantec on planning and landscaping, CMP Architects on architecture and Iceni as transport planning consultant.
