Bloor Homes has applied for permission for up to 135 properties in Deddington, Oxfordshire.
The housebuilder has applied to Cherwell District Council to develop part of a 13.47-hectare site off Banbury Road to the north of the village.
Under the plans around two thirds of the site will be public open space including a community park. A new nursery school for up to 50 children is proposed which would allow for the relocation of an existing one to a site closer to Deddington CofE Primary School.
Thirty-five per cent of the homes will be affordable.
The team on the project includes Wood Group on most of the main disciplines along with Aspect on ecology and Amity Tree on arboriculture.
