Plans for up to 480 homes at Wallingford have been submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council.

Croudace Homes has applied to build up to 400 homes plus up to 80 age-restricted properties on 22.9 hectares of arable farmland west of Shillingford Road.

A 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes would indicatively comprise 67 social rented, 48 affordable rented, 48 first homes and 29 intermediate homes.

The scheme will include one and two-bedroom apartments and houses of up to four bedrooms.

Two playing pitches will be created on the scheme’s open space.

The team on the project includes Boyer on planning, Fabrik on design and TPA on transport  planning and flood risk.
