ARC Uxbridge has set a new benchmark in the local commercial property market, securing over 120,000 sq. ft of leases in 2024 and pushing campus occupancy to 93 per cent.

This milestone surpasses the five-year average of 83,000 sq. ft for Uxbridge town in West London. This achievement follows a series of high-profile leases throughout 2024 which have cemented ARC Uxbridge’s reputation as a leading hub for innovation and growth.

In October the campus expanded its pharmaceutical cluster when Norgine, a leading European specialist pharmaceutical company relocated its UK office, taking 24,000 sq. ft joining, Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Daiichi Sankyo and Parexel at the ARC campus.

Two new food and beverage organisations also moved to ARC Uxbridge in 2024 as Pizza Express and Suntory took 5,000 sq. ft and 26,000 sq. ft respectively, joining existing member Mondelēz.

Global electric vehicle giant BYD was the latest occupier to join the campus’ growing line up of multinational tech-led businesses taking 27,000 sq. ft as the company expands its footprint delivering sustainable transport solutions in the UK.

Andrew Davies, leasing director at ARC said: “Surpassing the five-year average is a testament to ARC Uxbridge’s unique high-quality offering and our commitment to supporting the growth of ambitious companies. We’re excited to continue fostering an ecosystem where businesses can thrive,”

The performance underscores ARC Uxbridge’s appeal to businesses seeking high quality office space and a vibrant collaborative environment. The influx of members not only highlights the site’s strategic location, global connectivity, with Heathrow under 15 minutes away and premium amenities but also reflects the growing demand for dynamic workspaces in Uxbridge. As the campus continues to attract industry leaders and innovators, it reinforces its position as a key driver of economic growth and a catalyst for future success in the region.

ARC Uxbridge is a connected innovation campus sitting within 70 acres of London’s green belt. It’s designed to foster creativity, innovation, community and collaboration, from the spaces such as Adapt, a dynamic co-working hub for campus’ members, the Clubhouse, a café, seminar and meeting place, through to the specially curated member’s event programme and the surrounding green parkland, with trails, sport pitches and fishing lake.
