Flag American footballer tackles new role with Haslams

A local sportsman who plays for Great Britain has become the latest commercial agency surveyor at Haslams Surveyors in Reading.

Tom Holwell, who plays quarterback for Reading Devils at flag American football, a non-contact version of the game, has been selected for the GB flag football team.

In his new day job, Tom with work with the team at Apex Reading-based Haslams, the largest independent surveying and commercial agency firm in the Thames Valley.

Neil Seager, managing partner for Haslams, said: “Tom will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm’s agency team, providing our current and future clients with the expertise and capacity necessary to fulfil their aims and objectives.

“We are delighted to be able to expand this department, ensuring that we have a strong and well-resourced team, contributing to our continued growth.”

Tom, who hopes to represent the country in the LA 2028 Olympics, said: “I’m excited to join and work alongside the rest of the team and I’m looking forward to completing those first couple of lettings and get some points on the board.”
