UK Property Forums has teamed up with Hillingdon Council for a unique one-day investor conference.

The free-to-attend Hillingdon Takes Off event on Thursday, February 13 (9.30am – 2pm), set in the historic Battle of Britain Bunker, will offer a rare opportunity for investors, developers and advisors to learn about economic investment plans for the borough as the gateway to West London.

Key stakeholders and senior members of the council will attend and presentations will include the recently launched Uxbridge Vision and an update on the Local Plan.

The day will showcase development sites and opportunities planned across the borough and delegates will get a chance to network with those involved in promoting opportunities.

Along with council representatives, senior figures from Brunel University, Transport for London, the Greater London Authority, Heathrow Airport, Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce and private stakeholders such as SEGRO and the Stockley Park Consortium will be there.

Leader of the council Cllr Ian Edwards said: “I am really excited about this event as we are keen to engage with investors, developers and consultants to showcase a range of opportunities which we believe are some of the best in London.”

A morning of talks and panel discussions will be followed by a networking lunch and tours of the iconic Battle of Britain Bunker Exhibition and visitor centre.

Matthew Battle, managing director of UK Property Forums, said: “As a West London resident I am really excited to be working Hillingdon Council and stakeholders on this important event.”
