Honesty Group has opened a new coffee shop at Berkeley Homes’ Horlicks Quarter in Slough, the scheme’s first commercial outlet.

Honesty Horlicks is in Clocktower Place, one of the most iconic features of the remarkable redevelopment of the former factory. It is Honesty Group’s 11th coffee shop across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Caroline McHardy, land & development director for Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern) said: “We believe that creating a sustainable community goes beyond building new homes; it’s about placemaking and creating places that inspire and connect communities.

“We are thrilled that the Honesty Group have chosen to open their latest café at Horlicks Quarter, creating a fantastic hub for community engagement in Clocktower Place, celebrating the heritage of the factory and iconic chimney. Having the café in Clocktower place will create a vibrant, welcoming space where residents can come together and build lasting relationships.

“Our commitment to sustainability and community engagement is at the heart of this project, and we look forward to seeing how this cafe becomes a cornerstone of everyday life for everyone who calls this development home.”

Hicks Baker retail director Fiona Brownfoot acted for Honesty Group and is looking for similar opportunities.
