Green Park has achieved 95 per cent occupancy in its new wing of flexible, managed office space for smaller occupiers.

Flexible Space @ Green Park, in the East Wing of 100 Longwater Avenue, is part of Mapletree’s £7.9 million investment programme announced earlier this year, which also includes new amenities such as padel courts, doggy daycare and outdoor meeting pods.

Fifteen occupiers have signed up for suites which range in size from less than 500 sq ft to 2,500 sq ft. They include Akoni Technologies, Berkshire Women’s Aid, FixMyCar and IGEL.

The total 23,000 sq ft is spread across 18 suites offering accessible, agile workspace to diverse businesses, from start-ups to more established firms.

Occupiers and their staff can use Green Park’s amenities including its conferencing and its wellbeing programmes.

Henry Harrison, senior manager, asset management, UK for Mapletree, said: “Flexible Space @ Green Park has been designed to support our occupiers now, and in the future.

“We noticed a huge leap in the demand for fitted space as more businesses seek out that flexibility, blended with the design-led, sustainable office space that Green Park is known for. We believe that people thrive in exceptional environments and this new offer is very much an extension of that.”

Mahesh Kumar, chief executive and founder of IT consulting and resourcing company, Akoni Technologies, said: “As a fast-growth business, we were looking for an innovative, flexible environment, that offered our team a thriving community to be part of.

“Akoni’s culture is all about collaboration and inclusivity and the exceptional office space, together with the access to nature and events programme, offers all of this and more.”
