Lagan Homes has applied to build 63 properties on land at Wheatley in Oxfordshire as part of a wider plan which includes employment space and a care home.
The housebuilder has applied to South Oxfordshire District Council to develop 5.38 hectares of grassland, south of London Road.
The hybrid application seeks full consent for the homes, which includes a 40 per cent proportion of affordable, and outline consent for developing 1.25 hectares of the site for employment/care home use.
Lagan’s plan allows for 43,500 sq ft of employment space (use classes E, B2 and B8), or, a 78-bed care home with 18,000 sq ft of employment space.
Architect for the scheme is McBains while Stantec carried out planning.
