Plans for 104 homes at Chipping Norton have been submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council.

Gleeson Land has applied for outline permission to develop an irregular six-hectare agricultural site to the east of Burford Road.

The scheme includes 40 per cent affordable homes and just under two hectares will be new publicly accessible open space and infrastructure. The site is close to sports clubs, allotments, homes and other agricultural fields.

A public right of way, running diagonally through the site, has been retained.

Th team on the project includes Nexus on planning, Richards Urban Design on architecture and masterplanning, Aspect Ecology as ecological consultant and i-Transport on transport planning.
