Outline planning permission for up to 125 homes in March, Cambridgeshire has been granted by Fenland District Council.

The greenfield site is located off Princess Avenue, towards the south of March, and is within comfortable walking distance of schools, shops and facilities.

The proposals include new homes in a range of types and sizes, a central green area, public open space and a children’s play area.

The scheme will also be 20 per cent affordable housing.

Alex Anderson,  regional director at Richborough Estates, said: “A huge thanks to everyone involved in securing committee approval, including Fenland Council who were proactive throughout the process.

“We’ll start marketing the site in the next few weeks with a view to securing a housebuilder partner in the summer. Please get in touch if you would like to be added to the expressions of interest list.”
