Plans for up to 165 homes on land north of Carterton in Oxfordshire have been revealed in a screening opinion request.
David Wilson Homes has submitted the request to West Oxfordshire District Council. Via Buro Happold, over the need for an environmental impact assessment for its plans to develop 18 hectares of arable fields and grass football pitches.
The housebuilder plans to recreate the pitches.
The site sits in between the B4020 to the west and the stadium of Carterton FC to the east.
The land has been subject to a number of previous applications, most significantly a plan for 115 homes, 100 sq m of office space and an extension to a nearby country park in 2017. It was refused by the council and a subsequent application for 80 homes was withdrawn.
