Bloor Homes has submitted plans for up to 200 homes on the site of Shrivenham Park Golf Course in Oxfordshire.
The housebuilder’s outline plans submitted to Vale of White Horse District Council, will see the 28.63-hectare site, which is still currently operational, redeveloped for the homes, a 600 sq m community/commercial building and open space.
The site, which is not in the Green Belt, is on the northern edge of the Oxfordshire village near Watchfield.
A golf needs assessment by Consult QRD shows the club’s profit margin had drastically reduced from +30 per cent to -2.5 per cent since 2021although there had been a £75,000 increase in income over the period. Employment costs had risen from £89,000 to £203,000.
The team on the redevelopment project includes Turley on planning and design, NRP on transport and EDP on ecology.
