Long-awaited plans for almost 2,000 homes at Wisley Airfield have been submitted by Taylor Wimpey.
The housebuilder, which owns the 114.3-hectare site in Ockham, Surrey, plans 1,730 homes, eight gypsy and traveller pitches, up to 100 units of housing for older people, a mixed use commercial centre, primary and secondary schools, up to two nurseries and several sports fields and open spaces.
The hybrid application is for outline permission for the development with full permission requested for various highway and access requirements and SANG.
Taylor Wimpey is working with VIVID Housing to deliver affordable homes in the scheme.
The team on the project also includes Savills on planning, GSA on architecture and Davies on landscape architecture.
