Plans have been approved for up to 305 homes and a primary school in Warfield, Bracknell.
The outline application from a consortium comprising Danescroft, Taylor Wimpey, Messrs Sears, Mrs Corser and the Seatons, was approved by Bracknell Forest Council’s planning committee on Thursday, November 12, for a 13.87-hectare site between Old Priory Lane and Maize Lane.
Members of the committee spoke at length and asked questions about the proposal but were reminded by chairman Cllr Colin Dudley that those points were for the reserved matters stage.
The application, which was drawn up by Barton Willmore, went through by 12 votes to five.
