Investment manager Fiera Real Estate and developer Wrenbridge have officially commenced a mid-tech scheme facilitated by a new 150-year lease with Cambridge City Council.
The scheme, known as The Row, has a Gross Development Value of £30 million and is located in central Cambridge.
Construction has started on the 67,000 sq ft, two-unit development which is targeting EPC A*, BREEAM Outstanding and a WireScore Platinum rating.
The Row is part of the UK Innovation Corridor which seeks to attract firms within the research and development, science and technology sectors.
Harry Gibson, director at Wrenbridge said: “This project represents the next evolution of Cambridge’s mid-tech market – high-specification, sustainable, and designed for the growing occupier demand we’re seeing as the sector continues to mature.”
Fiera Real Estate Logistics Development Fund acquired The Row in August 2023, aiming for completion in August 2026.
The planning application reference is 24/03964/FUL.
