Taylor Wimpey has submitted outline plans for up to 420 homes at Tongham, Surrey.
The house builder has applied to Guildford Borough Council to develop 43.2 hectares of land at Manor Farm which it owns.
The application includes a 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes.
Green infrastructure proposed includes 13.6 hectares of Suitable Alternative Natural Green (SANG) space and 10.4 hectares of public open space, including new areas for children to play. The developer says in addition, there will be areas for ecological enhancement.
The application includes the partial replacement of a hop garden for Hogs Back Brewery which currently uses some of the land. The site sits outside the Green Belt.
The team on the project includes Turley on planning, AES on sustainability, Cratus on public engagement and i-Transport on transport planning.
