Frasers Property UK has secured a 53,000 sq ft letting at Winnersh Triangle to IT firm AHEAD.

The new occupier is relocating from its UK base in Slough to Building 310, a hybrid unit which combines office and warehouse space, as part of the next phase of its UK growth. The company has taken a 10-year lease on the space and will establish a data centre, IT support and office functions at the park.

The US firm, founded in 2007, delivers cloud and infrastructure services.

Rupert Batho, commercial director for Frasers Property UK, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome AHEAD to Winnersh Triangle. The park is home to a number of leading science and technology businesses and continues to attract forward-thinking companies like AHEAD.”

“This successful letting also reflects the long-term prominence of Reading and the Thames Valley as an established hub for global technology, data and science-led industries. Supported by strong infrastructure, a skilled workforce and excellent connectivity, the region has long been recognised as a centre of excellence for progressive businesses.

“Building on these strengths, Reading and the wider Thames Valley continue to reinforce their position and grow as one of the UK’s most dynamic centres for innovation and sustainable development,” he added.

Adam Kemp, vice president of AHEAD’s UK and Europe operations, said: “Relocating to Winnersh Triangle marks a new chapter for AHEAD as we continue to expand our presence in the UK. As demand for our solutions increases, this move provides the space, power capacity and flexibility we need to support our next phase of growth.

“Winnersh Triangle offers the ideal hybrid environment for our operations, while also providing excellent connectivity, high-quality amenities and a vibrant community of leading technology businesses that we’re proud to join.”

Frasers Property UK was represented by CBRE & Hollis Hockley and AHEAD by JLL.
