Opposition is growing to plans for a solar farm in South Oxfordshire.
The plan, submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council by Public Power Solutions, to put solar panels across 57 hectares of Green Belt land at Burcot Farm, has prompted around 60 objections.
The site, north of the A415, is currently arable farmland, around four miles from a 123-hectare solar farm at Nuneham Courtenay, which was approved in January.
CPRE Oxfordshire is leading the opposition to the scheme and is calling for a county-wide strategy to ensure solar farms are in appropriate locations.
It has produced a map showing where solar farms have been approved, refused or are planned throughout Oxfordshire.
It shows 38 proposals, at various stages, for ground-installed solar farms, covering 1,024 hectares.
