Plans for 72 student rooms for Oxford go before councillors on Tuesday (June 23) with a recommendation for approval.
Oxford City Council’s planning committee will consider St Hilda’s College’s plans to demolish a principal’s lodgings and an existing gym building, car park and shed/storage units to build two blocks – the 42-room Meadow Building and the 30-room Villa Building.
The scheme will include a replacement gym, health and welfare facilities and offices. It is phase two of the college’s plans for student rooms.
The plans also include a replacement principal’s lodgings building and landscaping and cycle parking. The scheme will be built to Passivhaus Classic standards.
