Carter Jonas has let the first and largest building on the last phase of the Tungsten Park scheme in Witney.
Acting on behalf of NFU Mutual, Carter Jonas let the 74,000 sq ft Unit 12 to an unnamed long-standing, growing local firm.
The third and final phase of the scheme is four buildings, jointly totalling 169,000 sq ft. It completes the overall 24-acre site, which has a combined development total of 469,000 sq ft.
Anne Hurrell, property asset manager at NFU Mutual, said: “We are delighted to welcome our first tenants to Tungsten Park. As a top 10 UK insurer, we are passionate about making long-term investments in communities that will benefit local economies for years to come.
“Tungsten Park provides a quality space for businesses to grow and thrive. We look forward to filling the remaining units, helping provide sustainable profitable growth for our members while benefiting the local economy in Witney and the surrounding Oxfordshire area.”
Jon Silversides, head of commercial agency for Carter Jonas Oxford, said: “Given the shortage of industrial opportunities in West Oxfordshire, it is imperative that we can facilitate the growth needs of a major, long-established Witney business such as this.”
