Plans have been submitted for up to 750 homes on farmland near Bicester Motion.

Gladman Developments has submitted outline proposals to Cherwell District Council for the scheme, which involves redevelopment of a 43.4-hectare site at Dymocks Farm at Caversfield.

Plans include land for a 420-place, two-form entry primary school, a local centre including a community hub and open space and infrastructure. There will be two access points onto the A4421.Plans include a 35 per cent proportion of affordable homes.

A previous scheme for housing was withdrawn in 2007.

Gladman’s plans have been scaled down from initially including 900 homes, a fire station and sports pitches.
