Croudace Homes has submitted plans for up to 900 homes on land south of the village of Graveley near Stevenage.

The housebuilder has applied to North Herts Council to develop a 42.7-hectare agricultural site, east of North Road. The scheme includes land for a two-form entry primary school and a neighbourhood centre and community facilities.

The outline application includes a 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes and there will be nine plots reserved for self-build homes.

The team on the project includes Stantec on planning and architecture and TPA on transport.
