Plans have been submitted for up to 99 homes in the village of Hurst in Berkshire.

Mactaggart & Mickel Strategic Land has applied to Wokingham Borough Council for outline permission to develop a 10.68-hectare agricultural field between Lodge Road and Tape Lane.

Plans for around 200 homes on the site were refused in 2022 and later dismissed at appeal.

The new Mactaggart & Mickel scheme proposes development of two areas of housing either side of a common. The irregularly-shaped site will also have a community orchard and children’s play area.

The team on the project includes Planning Potential on planning, i-Transport on transport planning, Mosaic on design and Pegasus on landscape design.
