Hayfield Homes has acquired a 2.2-hectare site in the village of Hanslope in the borough of Milton Keynes.
The developer plans to build a £19 million, 50-home scheme which already has consent. Hayfield has now submitted a reserved matters application to build 33 luxury homes and 17 affordable properties along with open space, landscaping, footpaths and play area space.
Mark Booth, managing director of Hayfield, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to develop this £19m scheme, which will be our second development in Buckinghamshire – a county that we continue to actively target.
“This site ticks all the boxes for us, as we will be able to deliver luxury, eco-friendly homes in a beautiful semi-rural village that is popular with commuters working in Milton Keynes, Northampton and London.
“The historic village commands premium prices due to its excellent schooling, easy access to the great outdoors and the close proximity of Wolverton train station, which provides a direct regular service to London Euston in under 50 minutes.”
Hayfield is currently building 554 homes in eight schemes in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire and expects to announce more soon.
