Three takes 117,000 sq ft at Green Park

Mobile phone business Three is to combine its Reading and Maidenhead offices into one of the two new 117,000 sq ft buildings at Green Park.

The building at 450 Longwater Avenue, due for completion later this year, will be central to a hybrid working routine where employees are encouraged to work part of the week from home and part at the office.

Robert Finnegan, chief executive of Three UK, said: “Maidenhead has been our home for the last 17 years and we’re thankful for the support of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead during this time.

“But now it is time for a new chapter in Three’s history and we are really excited to be moving our central office into Green Park, Reading.

“We have looked hard to find a place that fits the type of organisation we are today, but also one that will suit us as we grow over the coming years.”

Mark Redmond, chief people officer, said: “The last 12 months have shown the many benefits of working from home and we believe going forwards a working week at Three will mean people meeting in the office less frequently but with more purpose.

“We will be rolling this out across all our offices in the UK, and our new office space in Green Park, Reading, is being designed with this hybrid system in mind.”

Three aims to move in during in Q3 of 2021.
