Nick Kirby has joined Lichfields’ Thames Valley office as planning director.

Mr Kirby, who has worked as planning director for Pegasus Group and as a planner at Bracknell Forest Council, has 13 years residential, commercial and leisure planning experience. He is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and will be a key member of Daniel Lampard’s team, based in Apex Plaza.

Mr Kirby said: “I had seen Daniel Lampard speak at a number of industry events and was impressed by his knowledge, as well as the excellent reputation of Lichfields as a market leader, so to be joining him and his team is an honour.

“I’m excited to continue to work with existing clients and build relationships with future clients to deliver high quality developments.”

Mr Lampard, senior director and head of Thames Valley office, said: “Nick is a significant player in the development sector in the Thames Valley with a strong track record and we think he’s a really good fit for us and our clients. We’re excited to have him onboard.”

The Thames Valley team has worked on some high-profile projects since Mr Lampard set it up in 2015, including Berkeley Homes’ redevelopment of the Horlicks factory in Slough, Raymond Blanc’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison hotel and restaurant in Oxfordshire and JP Morgan’s Foundation Park scheme in Maidenhead.

In addition, Lichfields’ increasing workload in the region includes representing clients responding to consultations on both the Oxford to Cambridge Arc and the Oxfordshire Plan 2050 consultation.
