Thames Tap partner Blandy & Blandy brought women who work in planning together for an event at its Reading office.
Associate solicitor Sabah Siddiq, who works in the planning & environmental law team, presented on the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), alongside solicitors Harjinder Brah and Louise Low who discussed title matters to consider when preparing a planning application and the judicial review process.
Women in Planning (WIP)Â is an independent network with the aim to promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive planning industry.
Co-organiser Alice Davidson, associate director at Boyer and co-chair of the WIP Thames Valley committee, said: “What an informative evening hosted by Blandy & Blandy, with engaging presentations on important topics for those working in the planning sector and an opportunity to network.”
Sabah Siddiq said: “It was our pleasure to have had the opportunity to host this Women in Planning event on current planning matters and we were pleased to see so many members attended the event and to hear that the presentations were helpful and informative.
