Detailed plans by Persimmon Homes Wessex for 172 homes in Didcot have been approved by Vale of White Horse District Council.
The homes, part of a planning application for 4,254 homes at Valley Park which was approved last year, were given reserved matters approval at the planning committee’s September 27 meeting.
The homes – 59 of which will be transferred to a housing association partner – will be delivered as part Persimmon’s zero-carbon ready scheme.
It will be a ‘no-gas site’ with all properties equipped with air source heat pumps, electric vehicle charging points and solar panels, as well as cycle storage. P
