The former Canon Headquarters in Stockley Park are to be repurposed as a healthcare hub, and a planning application has been submitted to Hillingdon Council.

A healthcare hub is a centralised facility that provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services under one roof. Healthcare hubs typically offer primary care, speciality care, diagnostic services, laboratory services, imaging services, urgent care, preventive care, and rehabilitation services.

The proposal provides information about redeveloping 3, The Square, a vacant office building in Stockley Park, Uxbridge, into a healthcare hub.

​The project aims to create a postoperative medical care facility with consultation and treatment rooms, dental care facilities, a pharmacy, radiology and MRI suites, a gym and fitness centre, hydrotherapy pools, a cafeteria, and long-stay patient rooms. 

The redevelopment is being undertaken by Hale, in collaboration with other consultants such as Iceni Projects and Hive.  The applicant is F&C Commercial Property Holdings Ltd.

 Pre-application consultations have been conducted with the London Borough of Hillingdon, and discussions are underway with potential occupiers, including Vamed. 

The project, a significant opportunity for the community, aims to revitalise Stockley Park and provide much-needed healthcare services. This redevelopment will not only enhance the park’s infrastructure but also contribute to the overall well-being of the community. 

The proposal also mentions the issues that need to be addressed in Stockley Park, such as poor energy efficiency, facade failures, and outdated MEP systems. The park aims to promote occupiers’ well-being and has been awarded a Fitwel 2 Star Rating.
