Gladman Developments has submitted outline plans for up to 60 homes at Bloxham.

The developer plans to build on a 4.42-hectare site off Tadmarton Road in the village which is around three miles South West of Banbury.

Gladman had previously submitted a planning application on the site in July 2017 for up to 136 homes but withdrew that application a year later.

The new scheme involves development solely of the northern parcel of the site in order to integrate with an adjacent residential development.

The current application is a resubmission of a scheme that was turned down in August 2023. That has gone to appeal but the resubmitted application has sought to add technical information to address the reasons for refusal.

The team on the project includes The Environment Partnership on planning and design, Stirling Maynard on transport and Pegasus on heritage and archaeology.
