Cheffins has advised Raspberry Pi, a computing company, on the assignment of its lease at St John’s Innovation Park in Cambridge. Accountants Grant Thornton are taking occupation.

The lease concerned the 7,642 sq ft first-floor suite at the Maurice Wilkes Building. The lease, which Grant Thornton have taken on, will run until 2033. Raspberry Pi will focus on its headquarters at Cambridge Science Park.

St John’s Innovation Park is a 21-acre campus featuring high-quality office space as well as an innovation centre, gym, and transport hub. Other occupiers at the park include Darktrace, RSM and Mewburn Ellis.

The 65,000 sq ft Maurice Wilkes Building was completed in 2018. The Grade A office space is split over five floors.

This latest move represents the next phase in Raspberry Pi’s evolution and its wider property strategy as the company positions itself for continued success.”

“With excellent access to Cambridge city centre, the A14, M11 and A1, and a prominent position within St John’s Innovation Park, the Maurice Wilkes Building offers the type of high-quality space that remains in strong demand from both professional services and technology occupiers.”
