Strategic land promoter Catesby Estates has completed the sale of a Gloucestershire site to housebuilder Charles Church.
The 13.21 acre site at Chestnut Tree Farm in Twigworth has outline planning permission for up to 85 homes.
40 per cent are earmarked for on-site affordable housing provision.
The site was sold for an undisclosed price.
David Harper, associate land director at Catesby Estates, said: “This latest land sale to Charles Church represents further progress in bringing forward high-quality new homes and public open space in South West England.
“We look forward to seeing the development take shape and the benefits it will deliver locally.”
Steve Lambley, land director at Charles Church South Midlands, added: “We’re pleased to have purchased this site from Catesby Estates and will be submitting a reserved matters application to Tewkesbury Borough Council shortly and we are hopeful that the first homes will be delivered in the summer of 2027.
“It was a pleasure to work with the team at Catesby on this purchase and I would like to thank Dan Bentley from my team and David Harper from Catesby for all their work on getting this deal over the line.”
Julian Harbottle at Savills and Andrew Bower at Court Consulting acted on behalf of the landowner and Catesby on the sale.
