Indurent has secured pre-lets with an undisclosed major UK grocery retailer and Vision Vehicles at its Access 18 Avonmouth industrial development in Bristol.

The speculative development comprises two grade-A buildings split into a number of smaller units for logistics and hybrid manufacturing uses.

The scheme has roof-mounted solar panels, electric vehicle charging points and office space across the units.

The grocery retailer will take a 66,000 sq ft build-to-suit facility, which Indurent described as a ‘substantial new commitment to the region’.

Vision Vehicles, which hires accident insurance claim replacement vehicles, has signed for 28,000 sq ft at Unit 30. The unit is scheduled for completion next month.

Carys Allen, development director at Indurent, said: “Securing build-to-suit commitments at Access 18 highlights the strong demand for sustainable, well-located industrial space in the South West.

“This scheme continues to reinforce Avonmouth’s position as one of the UK’s most competitive logistics hubs.”

Barnwood acted as construction partner at Access 18.
