Plans have been submitted for up to 195 homes in Crowmarsh Gifford.
Hallam Land and Bloor Homes have applied to South Oxfordshire District Council to develop two arable fields totalling 14.8 hectares on the eastern edge of the village.
The outline plans include a building for community use, landscaping and open space. Access will be from Benson Lane and McCulloch Meadows.
The scheme includes a 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes.
The team on the project includes Woolf Bond on planning, Orion on heritage and archaeology, MEC Consulting on transport, hydrology and noise and HDA on landscape, masterplanning, ecology and arboriculture.
