The Great South West Partnership will return to the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) in May 2026, setting out its message to investors.
The partnership aims to position Somerset, Wiltshire, Cornwall, Devon and Dorset as an attractive place for housing delivery, infrastructure and long-term investment.
Central to its presence will be the launch of the 2026 Great South West Housing Prospectus and the 2026 Great South West Investment Brochure.
It is hoped these documents will attract investment for a market-ready pipeline of projects which are aligned with national growth objectives.
Some of these opportunities include strategic housing and regeneration schemes, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, defence, and infrastructure assets.
The region will be based from its own pavilion at Leeds’ Royal Armouries during the conference, which will host sessions for delegates to hear about inward-investment opportunities.
The Great South West Pavilion at UKREiiF 2026 is delivered in partnership with leading public and private sector organisations.
Headline partners are Exeter Science Park, Homes for the South West, and NautExe Global, and session partners are East Devon District Council, Milligan, and Talbot Quarter.
Karl Tucker, Chair of the Great South West Partnership, said: “The Great South West is stepping forward to deliver for the UK.
“From secure battery supply chains and clean energy generation to delivering new homes at scale and defence capability, this region plays a fundamental role in the country’s future security and prosperity.
“Our return to UKREiiF demonstrates that trans-regional collaboration works.
“By aligning local ambition with national priorities, we are bringing forward credible, investable opportunities that give Government and global investors confidence in long-term delivery.
“Investing in the Great South West means investing in the UK’s future.”
Stuart Harris, CEO at Milligan, added: “Across the South West, Milligan is working in a number of locations to unlock the full potential of places by focusing on what truly matters, meaningful, place-led regeneration that delivers long-term value for communities and investors.
“Our approach is rooted in deep collaboration, sustainability, and a commitment to creating thriving destinations.
“That’s why the Great South West is such an important partnership for us.
“Our ambition is to help shape a new chapter of sustainable growth and confident, community-first development for the South West.”
Taking place in Leeds from 19-21 May 2026, UKREiiF brings together 16,000 attendees, including government, investors, developers and civic leaders.
