Miller Homes has launched a new South West division, following the opening of its regional headquarters in Bristol.

The national housebuilder opened its 11th regional arm with a new base at Aztec West in Almondsbury.

Covering the South West and Wales, the move forms part of the company’s wider growth strategy with active developments already underway in Newport, Swansea and Yatton and new land secured in Royal Wootton Bassett.

The firm is also seeking further opportunities across Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire and Wales, with several new housing schemes in the pipeline.

James Mulcahy, managing director of Miller Homes South West, said: “There is a real sense of excitement within the team following our move to new office space in Bristol, as we officially mark our launch as the latest trading region of Miller Homes.

“We have a real appetite to move quickly, and sustainably, on our mission statement as a region to help the wider Miller Homes group to achieve its goals of broadening our new homes offering into this part of England and Wales, breaking new ground in the process.

“Miller Homes has a longstanding track record of delivering an exceptional standard of new home to its customers, proven by the company’s 90-plus year standing.

“We are all motivated to help the business continue this trend in new areas of the country as we look to offer a truly national product to our customers.

“We have recently secured planning consents at two developments in Wales under our St Modwen Homes brand, and have a considerable number of proposals in the pipeline for further new homes schemes across our patch, including land in Royal Wootton Bassett to be delivered as a Miller Homes development.

“Our new offices and planned growth will also provide a platform for our team to thrive and build, creating new job opportunities and career progression within our existing team. We’re all looking forward to the journey and enjoying finding our feet at our new offices.”
