Lesimar Ltd have brought forward an application to be heard by West Berkshire Council, regarding approval of conditions relating to an already approved industrial estate.
Initial proposal
The proposed estate would be located at Blacks Lake Track Racing, and would be comprised of an industrial estate covering 15,917 sq metres, as well as parking, landscaping and other infrastructure.
The initial proposal was approved subject to conditions in 2021, however two of those conditions have prevented construction to progress in that time.
Current application
Lesimar are bringing their current application to satisfy conditions 17 and 18 of the planning approval, looking for approval of details reserved by the aforementioned conditions.
Conditions 17 and 18 require that no development is to take place until a comprehensive and outline emergency plan is submitted and approved by the Local Planning Authority.
Lesimar are now bringing forward documents to satisfy these requirements, including a radiation emergency response plan.
The current application was validated last Thursday, and will be heard at a consultation on Friday 8 May.
