An application for the part conversion and change of use for existing offices – known as Bath & West Buildings – to student accommodation, has recently been submitted to Bath & North East Somerset Council.
The application is being brought forward by Somer Homes, with Pegasus Group acting as agent.
The upper floors of the three office buildings would be converted to form 29 student flats, alongside amenity space, whilst the ground floors will retain their use as offices.
There would also be external alterations to the buildings.
16 car spaces are currently on-site; however, the proposals would reduce this down to 14, whilst adding 33 new cycle spaces.
