Hounslow Council is asking residents, businesses and visitors to help shape the future of Hounslow Town Centre over the next 10 years.

The new Vision and Investment Framework will guide how the area develops and aims to support the Council’s Corporate Plan, A Fairer Future, by creating a place people are proud to call home and where everyone can share in future investment.

The town centre already benefits from diverse communities, independent businesses, strong culture and excellent transport links. The Council wants to build on these strengths and make the area even better for living, working, shopping and spending time. Proposed ideas include greener, more attractive public spaces; better connections across the town centre; support for local businesses; and investment that creates jobs, skills and opportunities for local people.

Another key ambition is to bring public spaces to life through events and activities that reflect Hounslow’s identity and encourage people to stay longer. Councillor Tom Bruce said the Council wants to hear from those who know Hounslow best, whether they have major ideas or just one thing they would like to change.

People who live, work, study, shop or spend time in Hounslow Town Centre are invited to share their views on what they value, what needs improving and what they want in the future. You can give feedback through a short survey on Let’s Talk Hounslow. There will also be an exhibition at Hounslow Library, plus pop-up events and drop-in sessions. The engagement process runs until 16 December 2026, and responses will help shape the final Vision and Investment Framework.
