A 1990s office building in Reading could be converted into 93 flats under Permitted Development Rights (PDR).
An application to Reading Borough Council by S&S Quality Contractors seeks to convert Kennet Place, one of three connected office buildings on the former Huntley & Palmers site.
The application proposes 65 one-bedroom units and 28 two-bedroom units across the five floors of the building which is on the corner of Forbury Road and King’s Road.
There will be 93 private car parking spaces in a basement car park, along with nine visitor spaces and two motorcycle spaces. There will be 48 secure cycle spaces.
The team on the project includes Murray Brooks Architects, Cottee Transport Planning and BWC Fire on fire strategy.
