Detailed designs for a £13.6 million warehouse at High Wycombe have been approved by Buckinghamshire Council.

Tungsten Properties acquired the 2.8-acre site in Old Horns Lane and subsequently submitted a planning application for a speculative 44,000 sq ft mid-box industrial building.

Tungsten Park High Wycombe will target BREEAM Excellent and EPC A. It is less than two miles from J4 of the M40 and 13 miles from junction 1a of the M25. Construction is due to start in Q1 2025 and the building will be available for either lease or purchase of the freehold.

The project is forecast to create around 78 construction roles and, once the buildings have been completed, provide up to 53 jobs.

Matt Jones, development director for Tungsten Properties, said: “We welcome the green light news for Tungsten Park High Wycombe. The development will address the growing demand for logistics space in an undersupplied market, catering to occupiers serving Greater London and the Home Counties. We look forward to creating local jobs in both the construction and end use phases.”

Iolo Morgan, senior associate director, BNP Paribas Real Estate, which, alongside Colliers, will be leasing agent, said: “This is significant news for High Wycombe and those many local and national businesses which have been looking for high spec industrial accommodation in such a well-connected area.

“Tungsten Park High Wycombe also offers the increasingly rare opportunity for an occupier to purchase the freehold of a brand new, best in class unit in the South East of England.”
