A land deal had been completed for a three-acre residential site, west of Aylesbury.
Tilia Homes, part of the untypical group, has acquired the land, which has outline consent for 50 properties, from Berryfields, a consortium comprising Taylor Wimpey, Martin Grant Homes, Cala Homes – and Tilia Homes itself.
The Berryfields development is a 3,000-home urban extension to Aylesbury where construction started in 2010.
A reserved matters application for the 50 homes, a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses and one and two-bedroom flats, is due to be submitted this month and work is expected to start in Winter 2025/26.
A third of the properties will be affordable housing.
Gareth Jacob, regional managing director for untypical’s Eastern region, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our land acquisition at Berryfields near Aylesbury. We are committed to delivering quality, sustainable housing solutions that meet the growing demand in this vibrant community.
“This project not only strengthens our presence in Buckinghamshire but also demonstrates our dedication to creating thriving communities that people want, need and are proud of.”
