Persimmon Homes Wessex is holding four events in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire to help first time buyers get one of its properties.

The housebuilder will be open its show home on July 26 especially to those looking for their first house, and there will be a financial advisor on-hand.

Events will be at Wellington Gate in Wantage and Valley Park in Didcot – both based in the Vale of White Horse district while the sales team will simultaneously host an event for two Wiltshire sites at its Jubilee Gardens development in Warminster.

Would-be customers can discuss options for both that site and the under-construction Highfield Gardens in Trowbridge.

On the same day, Persimmon’s sister company Charles Church will host part-exchange events for home movers at both Jubilee Gardens and Wellington Gate.

Sales director Pauline Fletcher said: “Persimmon is incredibly proud of our record of catering to first time buyers, with around half of our sales going towards those getting on the housing ladder every year.

“Buying a house for the first time can feel like a daunting experience that triggers more questions than answers, so we wanted to host these events to help get potential customers some strong, professional financial advice to help them on their house-buying journey.

“We also recognise how much harder it can be for younger people to buy a house in recent years, which is why Persimmon is stepping in with our own support schemes for first time buyers to achieve the dream of homeownership.

“So, I would all those interested to contact our sales team and find out just how close they already are to buying their high-quality Persimmon home, built by a five-star developer.”
