Sigma Strategic Land has submitted plans for up to 68 homes in the village of Ickford in Aylesbury.

The applicant, part of niche housebuilder Sigma Homes, has applied to Buckinghamshire Council for outline permission to develop a 4.07-hectare site to the east of Worminghill Road.

An application for 49 homes on the site was dismissed on appeal in 2018.

The refined design seeks to address the scheme’s ‘relationship with Worminghall Road’. The masterplan has also been revised to better integrate with the wider local area. The scheme has also been set further back to reduce its impact on a listed building nearby.

Sigma hopes any perceived isolation of the site is no longer a concern since the new Deanfield Park site was completed next door.

The team on the project includes Progress Planning, DHA Architecture and Paul Basham Associates on transport planning.
