Developers in Oxfordshire will hear from Neale Coleman, chair of the Oxford Growth Commission, when the county’s development forum gathers for its next quarterly meeting.

Mr Coleman, former advisor to Jeremy Corbyn when he was Labour leader and an advisor to both Ken Livingstone and Boris Johnson in their respective periods as Mayor of London, will be keynote speaker at the September 15 meeting of Oxfordshire Developers Forum (ODF) at ARC Oxford. 

Neale (pictured above), who is known for his work for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London and the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, was appointed to his current role by the Government in May.

Charles Butters, strategic property advisor to Oxfordshire County Council and the ODF (pictured left), said: “I’m delighted the next Oxfordshire Developers Forum event is being run in collaboration with the Oxford Growth Commission and that Neale Coleman, chair of the commission, will be a guest speaker and panel member.

“It’s really exciting that the forum is able to bring together Neale Coleman with key players from the public sector alongside landowners and developers to discuss our collective vision for Oxfordshire.”

Neale will address developers along with Pete Brunskill, rail development, place shaping for Oxfordshire County Council, who will discuss rail strategy.

There will be input from the ARC Group from its senior director of asset management Dan Pagella and an update on the Cowley Branch Line from Tom Bridgman, deputy chief executive place for Oxford City Council.

A panel debate will take place involving Neale Coleman, Eleanor Young, special advisor to Oxford Growth Commission, Martin Reeves (chief executive of Oxfordshire County Council, Robin Rogers, director of economy & place, Oxfordshire County Council and Tom Bridgman.
