Latimer is advising buyers on how shared ownership could be an option for them.
The housebuilder, part of Clarion Housing Group, is to hold a free drop-in event at Salento Marleigh, a stone’s throw from Latimer’s Marleigh Park scheme.
It will feature an overview of shared ownership by Latimer and advice from independent financial advisor, Metro Finance.
Lucas Chrysanthou, regional sales director for Latimer by Clarion Housing Group, said: “Shared ownership is an affordable, achievable first step onto the property ladder for many first-time buyers and second time buyers who may not be able to afford to buy on the open market.
“We’re delighted to be hosting an event that will further educate those interested in the scheme. Minimum deposits from as little as £8,126 at Marleigh Park position homeownership within reach for buyers that are struggling to save a large deposit.
“Buying your first home can be daunting, with information overload sometimes adding more stress to the process. By providing a chance for people to learn more about shared ownership before they buy, we’re hoping to make the process a more enjoyable journey for buyers in Cambridge.”
Alongside Marleigh Park, Latimer also has homes available at Springstead Village in Cherry Hinton, Barley Green in Saffron Walden and a collection of one to four-bedroom homes for outright sale coming in early 2026 at Lumo at Eddington.
